The Physics and Astrophysics of Very High Energy Sources: Observations, Phenomenology, Theory
The Columbia-DIAS-Heidelberg-Yale (CDHY) Initiative brings researchers together to understand Extreme Accelerators, the cosmic factories of very high energy particles.
What is the Initiative?
A joint network established by Columbia University (New York), Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (Dublin), MPIK Heidelberg, and Yale University (New Haven).
Its focus is current topics in astroparticle physics: theory and phenomenology, observations, and interpretation.
Who is it for?
Motivated young researchers starting their careers, in particular PhD students and early-career postdocs.
All introductory lectures are open and recorded.
